108 Slow Form (Square)

This 108 Slow Form, sometimes called the Square or Joint Form was modified by Wu Kung Yi from the original more circular form developed by Wu Chien Chuan.

108 Continous Form

The 108 Continuous or Fast Round Form is light and agile. Adapted from the original circular form, it moves swiftly and smoothly throughout the whole sequence, continuing beautifully like the wave of the river from start to finish.

108 Fast Form

When Grand Master Wu Chien Chuan revised and enriched the art of taichi chuan handed down from his father Wu Chuan You to make it more suitable for general practitioners though still containing all the martial applications and training,  he omitted some of the repetitions,  fa jin (發勁), stamping and jumping movements to make the form smoother, more structured with continuous steady movements.

This 108 Fast Form or Shanghai Fast Form however, kept the original fa jin, jumping, attacking and stamping movements. It is to be studied by those eager to advance their taichi practice.
